The Prodigy's Keith Flint Dead at 49


Legendary Prodigy Front Man Keith Flint was found dead in his Essex home on March 4th, the cause of death has been recorded as suicide by hanging.

An inquest into his death has now been opened, with coroner's officer Lynsey Chaffe saying the cause of death has been provisionally recorded as hanging.


"Police attended, all protocols were followed and his death was confirmed as not suspicious," she told the two-minute hearing in Chelmsford.


Flint who found fame with the legendary group The Prodigy as a dancer in the early 90's with hits such as Jericho, Out Of Space, and No Good (Start The Dance) but went on to be the bands front man over the decade with hits like Firestarter and Breathe from The Fat of the Land album.


This year the Prodigy were due to tour the United States and play Glastonbury after the November 2018 release of their latest album No Tourists which became their seventh straight number one album.


Over the last two weeks the band has thanked fans for their support "Thank you people for all the tributes , they have really touched us and kept us going this week".

The band has described Keith as a "True pioneer, innovator and legend".
